Fixed Fee Services
Personal Guarantee Independent legal advice
Directors are often required to sign personal guarantee and indemnity deeds to act as guarantor for a company’s bank loan. We offer independent legal advice tailored to your specific circumstances. Our solicitors will carefully study all relevant documents provided by your lender, and advise of the implications of personal guarantees, ensuring that you fully understand your obligations and the potential risks.
We offer a fixed fee service for independent legal advice.
Please note: The requirement for independent legal advice is not just a signing formality (nor simply the witnessing of a document), it is important to understand that it carries legal implications.
Many lenders still do not accept an electronic signature on personal guarantees or deed of guarantees; therefore, the meeting is usually face-to-face.
Directors giving a personal guarantee and indemnity when taking a loan or mortgage on behalf of a limited company.
Individuals providing a personal guarantee for a loan or mortgage from which they do not benefit, such as parents guaranteeing a mortgage for their child.
